Dear Evolving Entrepreneurs,
From time to time throughout my adult life, I have sometimes questioned the purpose of work…that was of course until I found my calling in entrepreneurship, that I think is essentially a 24/7 career.
“Why don’t we just play all the time?” I would ask myself when I was younger and dumber.
Now that I am older and wiser I have established a reason and explanation that I’m comfortable with.
The reason for work, aside from creating a sense of purpose and contribution for some lucky people like myself who do what they love to do, is to make you appreciate your free time more.
This is similar to my belief about why there will always be very poor, very sick, and very seemingly unlucky people…
To make you appreciate and give gratitude for your situation much more than you usually would.
