Seth Godin makes an important point here about a critical decision you the entrepreneur has to make early on in the development stages of your business.
Do you want to be indispensable to your business...or...do you want to be able to walk away and still have the company operate at the same (or better) level of performance.
Much of this decision might be rooted in your entrepreneurial ego.
How intense is your ego urge to be forever associated with being "the man" or "the woman" who created the company?
I believe successful entrepreneurs learn how to build their company in a manner that makes them dispensable.
Because then you can be sure that you have created a lasting force benefiting the economy for years to come after your departure.
Here’s to reveling with you in entrepreneurial success!
Sincerely,
