Seth Godin errs on his recent post called Flexibility when he states that, "The one thing that's certain about your marketing plan, your products, hey, even your life is that it won't turn out the way you planned."
I've met successful entrepreneurs in their 50's and read several other accounts of people who wrote down exactly how they wanted their lives to look and made it true.
Granted, their were unexpected occurrences along the way, but nonetheless.
Through vision crafting, faith, and mental imagery and rehearsal, you can create a clear mental picture of your life in the future and ultimately....make it happen.
I certainly hope that you will be flexible enough to recover from the shock when life proves you wrong.
