Entrepreneurs are not born, they evolve

I certainly hope that you will be flexible enough to recover from the shock when life proves you wrong.

I have come to the conclusion that a good pilot is a wonderful example of a good entrepreneur. Even on a newest and finest aircraft a good pilot will always follow a very detailed checklist and is almost paranoid on every take off or landing. He does this because he knows that even in the best of situations he cannot anticipate every possible outcome. In fact, some of the worlds finest pilots have died because of issues beyond their control.

As an entrepreneur you do everything you can to anticipate every possible outcome to your business venture, but you must always keep in mind that no business model is without risk. Truely understanding this fact will be a valuable resource in realizing your success.
