My sole employee is working out very well, hitting all the daily and weekly targets I set for her.
We have cash flow and I'm getting a good feel for the mass affluent market in the community and what they want, by meeting and speaking with the members.
Fortunately, I'm being supported in this venture by Patrick Rigsby, a fitness entrepreneur now consultant to the fitness industry, who has several personal training and health club businesses in Kentucky.
He has been kind enough to provide me with some materials from a business system he has developed, perfected, and now packaged into an information product called The Personal Training Money Machine with the help of a fitness coaching marketing consultant, Eric Ruth.
In addition he has, on more than one occasion, given up some of his precious time to answer questions for me by email and phone.
After basically being away from the fitness industry for two years or so while I tried my hand at international business with one of my high level mentors...it's a slow process getting back into the groove and trying to manifest that passion I once had for anything health and fitness.
I know it'll come back eventually, but the great thing about my situation now is that I get to do things on my terms...
If I want to actually do the fitness coaching, I can...or...I can simply focus on marketing and operations, which I've been doing up to this point.
It seems time for me to get back to my roots and, borrowing from Earl Nightingale, "mine the acres of diamonds in my own backyard."
