Startup Fun
For the last few weeks I've been embroiled in a startup venture to develop and manage a one-on-one and group fitness coaching program for a country club in an affluent community here in Central Florida.

I've spent the last 3 years of my life preparing for this venture through self-education and serving as apprentice to several high level entrepreneurs.

And, it is 100% mine.

I realize now that if I had chosen to start a business like I'm starting now...before I had learned everything I have to this point...I certainly would have failed miserably, and, possibly given up on my entrepreneurial dreams.

Everything I've done and been involved in; the ups and downs, the emotional strain and drain,  has served it's purpose and prepared me well for what I'm doing now.

And, I'm having a blast!

Throughout the hardships, I have also proved to myself that I have the single most important quality necessary to succeed in entrepreneurship, which is, the ability to persevere over long periods of disappointment and numerous emotional and financial roller coaster rides by continuing to take action.

It has not been easy, but has given me the mental toughness I'll need in the years to come as my entrepreneurial career develops.

Amen! When you're passionate about something, it doesn't matter what happens. It's almost like a love affair, ya know? I've been on my own for awhile now and everyday is a thrill!

Great to see you back, Adam, and I too am rooting for your success here because you seem to have the vision and the plan to make it fly. Keep us posted!

Adam,

Way to go man! It has been cool watching this unfold, take shape and now launch!

Good luck Adam, but don't forget to put your customers first.

A basic failure of most entrepreneur businesses is found in this area. We get so caught up in the energy and battles of every day business that we forget a very basic premise. If you dont give the customer what they need, not want, they won't be their when you need them. This is especially true in developing a loyal following of repeat customers. Good luck and keep your chin up.
